Creating Relational Capital in Your Business & with Your Family

Relationships are critical to business success, but no one has provided a simple system to turn contacts and acquaintances into valuable assets—until now.  We’re delighted to have author and entrepreneur Ed Wallace introduce his 5 step process to reveal how to transform ANY business relationship into a valuable source for your family business on May 10.

In addition to family members and non-family executives, bring your sales team! Uncover how to maximize the strength of your relationships, generate high-quality leads, and increase your revenue while maintaining the values and culture of your business family.

Take-aways Include:
• A copy of Ed's book… be sure to have Ed sign it at the Forum!
• Orientation to the core Relational Capital concepts
• The Principle of Worthy Intent
• Relational GPS
• The Essential Qualities – credibility, integrity, authenticity
• The Relational Ladder®
• Greater appreciation for the value of RC
• An RQ Assessment that measures the strength of the participants’ most important business relationships
• A Relational Capital action plan for three relationships that they can begin activating immediately

Please bring your completed assessment on May 10 to leverage your value from the workshop portion of the morning.

The Next Generation Successor: Not the Easy Road

Many of our past Forums have focused on the challenges of the senior generation “letting go.”  Now it’s time to hear from the next generation!

We invited Aaron Baum, 2nd Generation President, Baum Precision Machining, Inc., Pipersville, to talk from the “other side of the table.”  What are the risks, challenges and benefits … for the business, the family, and the successor?  After earning an MBA and 2 successful careers at Medical Labs and Sprint, Aaron returned to the family business in 2005.

We will also hear from several next generation Leadership Lab colleagues on this significant, relevant topic impacting family business continuity!
