The Management (Blue) Mountain generates profits, but who decides where the money goes? After tax payments, how much do we “leave in the business” – employee bonuses, debt payments, fixed asset investments, acquisitions, working capital reserves? How much do we “take out of the business” for Shareholder Distributions/Dividends and Stock Redemptions?

This Best Practice Event will explore how Shareholders – in concert with the Board and Management – establish a Capital Allocation Policy which protects the long-term health of the business and the vision, values, and interests of family shareholders. We will learn from the experiences of Henry Landes, Founder/Sr. Family Business Advisor, DVFBC; Mario Vicari, CPA, Director at Kreischer Miller; and perhaps other Members or participants.
