Keynote: Bill Yoh, G3, Day & Zimmermann
Mark your calendars now to join us for our family business
Our family business Mini-Conference will focus on leaving a legacy of meaning at your family business. Creating a culture where your team believes that part of doing well involves doing good in their community is an exceptional way to create lives of purpose. Come hear our keynote speaker Bill Yoh discuss how his father did just that.
Bill is committed to all things family. As an executive and third-generation owner of Day & Zimmermann, his family’s 42,000-employee company, he has rare insight into the complex dynamics behind multi-generation family businesses. His volunteer experience includes chairing the boards of a national trade association and one of the largest independent schools in the United States. A lifelong writer, Bill has published business and literary articles and blogs, helping other family business owners navigate the opportunities and challenges that inevitably arise when personal and professional lives intersect.
His first book is a biography of his father, Spike. Our Way is an inspiring story of love and loss, triumph, and tragedy. It contains important and transferable lessons for leaders of both business and nonprofit enterprises, but it should also be read by any parent who seeks to help his or her children overcome obstacles while preparing them for lives of meaning and service.
It is an inspiration and a how-to for creating a successful business and successful relationships. Come hear from Bill Yoh about his father’s commitment to the belief that a business – especially a family one – should commit to doing well by doing good.
