Health Care Reform is and will continue to make the compliance landscape a difficult one to navigate. We are committed to providing you with timely information and, more importantly, ways to integrate these new compliance regulations into your daily workflows.
In this Lacher & Associates webinar, we will cover one of those compliance regulations as a result of healthcare reform, the W-2 reporting requirement. In 2012, companies with 250+ employees were required to report the total cost of healthcare coverage on their employee’s W-2. In 2013, all companies (this includes companies under 50 employees) will be required to comply with this regulation.
This reporting is mandated by PPACA. The goal is to provide employees useful and comparable consumer information on the cost of their health care coverage.

Prior to the webinar, familiarize yourself with this spreadsheet. It is a tool to help you record the monthly costs of healthcare for your employees in 2013 and beyond. Please note, the tool includes costs spent on dental insurance. Although it is optional to report dental at this time, there are discussions that it may be mandatory in the future.
