Chick-fil-A’s Secret Sauce

Extending a Lasting Legacy

Featuring: Trudy Cathy White, Ambassador of Chick-fil-A, Author, Founder Truett Cathy’s only daughter

Join us as Trudy Cathy White shares her lifelong experience in the family business and how the family honors their legacy.

Like many of our Members, Trudy began working for the family business at age 19. She became an operator of a new Chick-fil-A restaurant in Birmingham, Alabama — making her the youngest Operator at that time. Though she had just finished her freshman year at Samford University, her father – Truett – believed in his daughter, and handed her the keys. She took a year off from school to run the restaurant and, in that time, hired fellow Samford student, John White. “When he came in, I knew I needed to hire him. It didn’t hurt that he was good-looking.” They’ve been together ever since, and married for 40 years.

After decades as a missionary, camp director, mother of four, and grandmother to 17, Trudy has recognized that our attitudes and habits shape us into stewards in the community, effective leaders, and pillars of inspiration for those around us.

Join us to learn:

  • About the secret sauce that helped Chick-fil-A become the third-largest restaurant chain in the United States
  • How the family continues to build on their legacy of hard work, integrity, and giving back
  • How to identify, transfer, and reclaim our family values to allow our families and businesses to flourish

Bring your family, shareholders, key managers, and board members and learn together along with other enterprising families!
