Growing up around family businesses gave Jennifer an early window into the complexities and opportunities facing multigenerational family enterprises. She was fortunate to observe and listen to stories about her great grandparent’s plumbing business on Long Island, NY, which moved into the 3rd generation. As a young adult, Jennifer “married into” another family firm; her father-in-law and his father were partners at their CPA firm. Both family-owned businesses demonstrated the values and skills required to treat family members, co-workers, and customers with care, honesty, and fairness.
For more than 20 years, Jennifer has been advising and coaching business leaders and teams; helping them shape their cultures based on their values, craft effective communication strategies, and facilitate strategic planning. Jennifer also delights in training and developing next generation leaders. Jennifer’s coaching style is candid and constructive—challenging assumptions, measuring and celebrating progress, and supporting real behavioral change aimed at creating powerful competitive advantage. Her strength is turning complex relationships and processes into opportunities for creativity, growth, and success—all with a positive attitude that reassures clients that she is wholeheartedly in their corner.
